Rand Paul Warns Dems: A “Day Of Reckoning Is Coming”

Have the American people had enough of unending crime? According to Kentucky Senator Rand Paul, a “day of reckoning” for the Democrat Party is on the way as Americans grow weary of rising criminality and violence in cities across the country.

Paul alleged that there is a double standard in place when it comes to political violence, with the Left only caring about their own side being harmed. The remarks followed last week’s violent knife attack on GOP Rep. Lee Zeldin during a campaign speech.

“The left is encouraging this on,” Paul added during a recent chat with Sean Hannity..

“And if we’re going to stop this, we need to start locking people up,” Paul added.

Senator Paul said that a news story he read about the violent assault against Zeldin compared to a previous attack by his neighbor, in which the media coverage included “violence against me was justified.”

Paul then went after the Democratic Party for America’s terrible crime and violence problems, which are prevalent in many of their cities.

“It’s going to be a day of reckoning for the people who live in New York City – crime disproportionately affects those in low-income areas and minorities.”

“They’re going to rise up one day and say, ‘We’ve had enough,’” he predicted.

“‘The Democrats are failing to safeguard our children.’”

He continued:

“Kids are being murdered at bus stops.”

“Children are dying on the subway,” Paul declared.

“The Democrats don’t give a damn about your children. It happens decade after decade.

“There will come a day when individuals wake up and say, ‘We’ve had enough,’” he added.

“We’re going to support law and order.”

“Lee Zeldin is the law and order candidate,” Paul emphasized.

“So I think it’s likely that people will say, ‘I don’t care about Black, White, or any other race.’”

“I’m not affiliated with any political party,” he added.

“I want crime to stop, and we need to put people in jail,” says Paul.

Paul has received a lot of attention this month, frequently going toe-to-toe with some of politics’ most prominent personalities, including his own party. In July, BLP covered Paul’s assertion that Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell made a backroom deal with Joe Biden to name someone for the court. McConnell essentially denied the allegation.
