Republicans’ Latest Border Discovery Has Nancy Pelosi Going Crazy

When asked if the present scarcity of baby formula had anything to do with former President Joe Biden sending pallet fulls of formula to the southern border, House Speaker Pelosi (Dem-CA) exploded on Sunday. Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY), chair of the House GOP Conference, had said that some of the shortages were due to President Biden shipping pallets of formula to the United States’ border.

“Joe Biden continues to place Americans LAST by shipping pallets of baby formula to the border as American families deal with empty shelves,” Stefanik said on Twitter. “This is indignant. American moms and their babies should not be harmed because of the Biden Border Crisis.”

During an interview with ABC’s “This Week,” Pelosi was asked whether the shortfall was in part due to Biden’s actions.

“Her words are irresponsible, as usual. Babies are crying. They need food right now. And the president has — and we’re doing this week in the Congress, again, Bobby Scott, chair of the Education and Labor Committee, who will reduce some of these regulations to make buying it easier,” Pelosi said.

Pelosi did not directly dispute Stefanik’s claims, but she acknowledged that the “supply chain” was part of the problem.

“As usual, your LEADERSHIP is completely irresponsible,” Stefanik fired back on Twitter. “Babies are crying. We need to feed them.”

WATCH:

VIA ABC NEWS:

“PELOSI: Rosa DeLauro, who has been working on this issue for some time and is now the chair of the Agriculture Appropriations Subcommittee, she was previously the chair of the entire committee. She’s been working to acquire funding so that we can buy supplies right now – there are four countries with supply that might be accessible to us: Chile, Mexico, Ireland, and the Netherlands. So the president is correct. We must act as quickly as possible, but as safely as possible, for these infants to achieve that goal. And a part of it is the logistics chain.”

Democrats are clearly upset about the truth coming out. They simply laugh at the idea of American families going without basic necessities, but illegals they will move heaven and earth to help.
