Video: Trump Interview Gets Deceptively Edited, And Here’s The Proof

This week, Piers Morgan’s new program, which will air on the TalkTV network (which is owned by Murdoch), released a trailer of an interview with Donald Trump that is said to be “the most explosive discussion of the year.” To support that claim, the video shows Trump and Morgan squaring off, with Trump asking to “turn off the camera,” after which he is alleged to have stormed offset.
Furthermore, according to The New York Post, which Murdoch also owns, Trump abruptly walked out in the middle of the interview.

“An NBC News audio recording appears to show that, as previously reported, Pres. Donald Trump’s much-publicized interview with Piers Morgan did not conclude with him storming off the set, as edited promotional video clips suggested.”

“Instead, the recording, which was provided by Trump’s spokesperson, shows the two men thanking each other and laughing at the end of their interview with Talk TV, a Murdoch-owned subsidiary.”

“Talk TV, which is set to premiere this week, teased the interview — dubbed “the most explosive of the year” in a video summary that is staged with film music and depicts Trump as furious about the substance of queries posed by Morgan. The clip and alleged walkout were mentioned in a New York Post story, which is also owned by News Corp.”

But wait a moment. If NBC News is reporting that it exists in a write-up defending Trump, you can bank on it. That isn’t an outlet that will cover for the former president in any way. In fact, given the animosity between them, this is the exact opposite.

Additionally, if the discount is this badly cut, you may anticipate the full-length interview to be equally awful. Obviously, Trump and Morgan got into it about the 2020 presidential election. That much is true because even selective editing can’t fabricate those debates, and those charged moments will headline articles. However, if they shook hands after the interview was finished and both men went away satisfied, it should not have been depicted as such.

It’ll be fascinating to see who Trump lays the blame on once he issues a formal comment. Is it Murdoch or Morgan that will be targeted, or both? Fox News, which is indirectly linked to this by ownership, will almost certainly have to assure the former president that they were unaware of the event. Heck, I’m still confused as to how it could happen. Why would Newscorp want to destroy a crucial relationship over a cheap publicity stunt for a chump like Piers Morgan? There must be some adjustments in store.
