Lunden Roberts, the mom of Hunter Biden’s daughter, testified before a grand jury in DE that is reportedly looking into Hunter for possible tax crimes, as reported by the Daily Mail.
Roberts is only one among the expanding list of his partners who were subpoenaed to hand over evidence in the Dept. of Justice’s probe into Joe Biden’s finances.
In 2018, Roberts gave birth to Hunter’s baby, Navy Joan. Roberts then started a legal fight with Biden when she filed a law-suit, the NY Post reported.
At first, Hunter denied any connection with Roberts and would not accept that the child was his. But DNA tests revealed the baby was his, as reported by CNBC.
During their child support battle, Hunter also said he was too poor to give child support. But during this time he was living in a rented home and driving a Porsche, as reported by the Daily Mail.
Hunter would not want to unveil his financial details, and finally, a court in Arkansas asked for a hearing on whether he would be ruled in contempt for not disclosing the details, CNBC News said.
Clint Lancaster, a lawyer for Roberts, accused Hunter Biden of not respecting the court.
“The defendant’s behaviour is contemptuous and willful,” Lancaster said in a motion requesting the judge hold Hunter in contempt, CNBC News said.
Then after Biden had won the White House, Hunter revealed he was getting investigated by the Dept. of Justice and spoke about he took the matter very seriously.
The scandal concerning Hunter continued to expand when the NY Post reported on a hard drive from lost laptop. It reportedly had emails with details about his overseas business partnerships, along with videos and photos that have drug and sexual content.
Meanwhile, much of the details into Hunter are not known and the testimony from Roberts is a secret, the Daily Mail said.
After giving many hours of testimony, Roberts would not speak to reporters.
