Republicans Threaten Biden’s FBI Henchman With Swift Payback

On Monday, House Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) vowed to launch a thorough inquiry into Attorney General Merrick Garland and the FBI’s raid on former Pres. Donald Trump’s residence.

In a statement, Trump said that the FBI had invaded his home in Florida, Mar-A-Lago. McCarthy reacted to the raid by claiming that Republicans would look into every aspect of what caused it.

McCarthy said:

“I have seen enough.”

“The Department of Justice has reached a state of weaponized politicization that is completely unacceptable.”

“When the House of Representatives is returned to the GOP, we will immediately conduct oversight of this department and examine the facts. We will not leave any stones unturned.”

“Preserve your documents and clear your calendar, Attorney General Garland.”

Furthermore, if the GOP takes back the House in 2022, they will be able to issue subpoenas into the raid against Donald Trump. The House Judiciary Committee and the House Oversight and Reform Committee can investigate how the search warrant against Trump came about.

“This is what happens in third-world countries,” wrote the House Judiciary Republicans. “Doesn’t the FBI have better things to do than harass a former president?”

Ronna McDaniel, the Republican National Committee chairwoman, declared, “Absolute power corrupts absolutely. We’ve seen time and again that Democrats flaunt the law and misuse their power with impunity, such as Hunter Biden. Democrats frequently use the bureaucracy against Republicans to advance their cause. This action is outrageous.”

“These are difficult times for our country, as my lovely home in Palm Beach, Florida, is now under siege by the FBI with a large group of agents. This is the first time such a thing has happened to a president of the United States.” Trump stated in his statement about the FBI raid on Mar-A-Lago.
